Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies started her acting career when she was twelve by participating in the local casting auditions. Her career as an actress began as a child when she started attending local open casting calls. Gillies played a regular role on The Black Donnellys during three seasons. Her parents did not allow her to see the full series because they felt it wasn't appropriate. In the show, she played minor roles The Clique and Harold and also Locker 514. In the summer, Ariana, who would be later in Victorious along with her, was cast alongside her as Lucy in an Goodspeed production in Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. It was in the fall of that same year, 13, which was the very first Broadway musical completely comprised of teens, made the move to Broadway. She was given the big song "Opportunity," "It Can't Be Real," as well as other numbers like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and many more.
