Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem was born in Iceland and began her acting journey at nine at Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. When she was a young actress she was a part of various plays, broadcast on radio and television in her home country of Iceland. When she was 16, Briem moved to London to take part in a production for the theater of the show Lenin in Love in The New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she enrolled for three years. She received a diploma in drama as well as the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
